Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Offstream LLC (“Offstream,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use the Offstream apps and website (the “Service”), why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Offstream LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
By using the Service, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.
1. Who we are
Offstream LLC
30 N Gould St, Ste R
Sheridan, WY 82801
United States
Privacy contact: privacy@offstream.gg
2. Information we collect
Account
- Email address.
- Password. We store it only as a hash. We never store your password in plaintext.
- A 6-digit code we email when you reset your password. The code expires after 10 minutes. It is not your password, and it does not sign you in by itself.
- Display name, username, and avatar.
- Date of birth, so we can confirm you are 18 or older.
Twitch, if you connect it
- Twitch user ID, login name, display name, and profile image.
- For Streamers, public channel information we need to verify the channel, such as follower or subscriber count and when the channel was created.
- We store the Twitch sign-in token encrypted, and we ask Twitch only for the access the Service needs.
Bookings, messages, and payments
- Bookings, times, the cancellation policy you acknowledge, reviews, tips, and problem reports.
- Chat messages, each linked to the booking it relates to.
- Accept PIN. Each booking has a 4-digit PIN that only the Fan sees and gives to the Streamer in order to accept. We store it so the Fan’s order can show it and so we can check the Streamer’s entry. It is not included in notifications, emails, or chat previews. We record whether an entry attempt succeeded, for support and payment disputes, and we do not put the PIN itself in that record.
- Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We may receive limited information such as card brand, last four digits, and, for Streamers, the status of the payout account we need in order to send payouts.
Device and approximate location
- IP address, and an approximate location derived from it (country and region). We do not use GPS or precise device location. A geolocation provider supplies the approximate location. We use this to run and secure the Service, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.
- Device type, operating system, app version, and browser type.
- A push-notification token, if you allow notifications on a device.
3. How we use information
- To provide accounts, bookings, chat, notifications, payments, and payouts.
- To verify Streamers and protect usernames from impersonation.
- To confirm you are 18 or older.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and look into reports and payment disputes.
- To email you about your account, bookings, and payouts. Some of those messages are part of the Service and cannot be turned off. Password-reset codes are one of those messages.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and sign-in on your device
- On the website, we use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not an advertising cookie.
- When you sign in with Twitch, we keep a short-lived sign-in state for about 10 minutes so we can finish that sign-in. That state is stored on our servers. It is not a tracking cookie and it is not used for advertising.
- The mobile app stores your sign-in token in the device’s secure storage. It does not use a browser cookie for that.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How we share information
- With the other person on a booking: your display name, avatar, username, booking details, and messages.
- With Stripe, to process payments and payouts.
- With Twitch, when you connect Twitch, to sign you in and to verify a channel.
- With service providers that act on our behalf, described by what they do: hosting, database hosting, email delivery, push notifications, analytics and error monitoring, and geolocation.
- When we believe it is necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or respond to a valid legal request.
- If Offstream is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. How long we keep it
- Account information (email, display name, avatar, connected Twitch profile, and notification settings) is kept while your account is open.
- Bookings, payment records, and related messages are kept for at least 7 years to meet accounting, tax, and dispute obligations.
- IP address and approximate location are kept for a limited time for security and disputes, then deleted or reduced to a less identifying form.
Deleting an adult account
Adults can delete an account in Settings on the web or in the app. We sign you out everywhere and take a Streamer page offline right away. We delete or anonymize the account after a 30-day grace period, and always within 90 days of closure. Signing in again, or using the link we email you, cancels the deletion during those 30 days.
We can’t delete an account while it has an active session, an open payment dispute, earnings still pending or available (Streamers are asked to withdraw first), a withdrawal in progress, or a negative balance. If one of those appears during the grace period, we delete the account once it is resolved. Booking, payment, dispute, and message records that we must keep stay, linked to a pseudonymous identifier instead of your name and email.
Under 18
If a date of birth shows someone is under 18, we sign them out and delete the account, including the date of birth, right away. There is no 30-day grace period for that account.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can update your profile, disconnect Twitch, and manage notification preferences in Settings.
- You can ask for access to the personal information we hold, a correction, a copy or export, or deletion, by emailing privacy@offstream.gg. We will respond to a verified request within a reasonable time.
- Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, store passwords only as hashes, and encrypt Twitch sign-in tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Age
offstream.gg is only for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it, including the date of birth, as described above.
10. Where we operate
The Service is aimed at people in the United States and Canada. Streamer payouts are available only in those countries. If you use the Service from somewhere else, we still process personal information in the United States.
11. Changes and contact
We will post changes on this page. For a material change, we will also notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
